A section of the Information Technology/Application Development department achieved its CMMI ML2 assessment in June of 2007. It was an effort that started in the 1st quarter of 2005 and ended in June of 2007. We are now preparing for a ML 3 assessment and expanding our ML 2 organization. This evening's presentation will provide a brief overview of CMMI, along with the Richmond FRB's approach. We will cover the challenges faced, process improvement perspectives from different stakeholders and the lessons learned during the CMMI implementation.
